Procrastination and lost money.
Piers Steel is a Canadian professor of human resources at the University of Calgary and the author of “The Procrastination Equation: How to Stop Putting Things Off and Start Getting Stuff Done”
He studies procrastination seriously!
Procrastination and time management are related but time management is not a function of time management.
Most people don’t know that!
Most people, who are poor time managers, think that’s why they procrastinate.
Oh, they are related.
If you are poor at time management, one of the results is not being very good about killing procrastination.
But they are different animals.
You don’t procrastinate just because you’re lousy at time management.
PUTTING OFF TASKS…IS THAT PROCRASTINATION?
Professor Steel also says that that just putting off a task in and of itself is not considered procrastination.
Procrastination, he says,: “… is when we “voluntarily delay[s] an intended course of action despite expecting to be worse off for the delay.
Procrastination is different from, though related to, poor time management.
