Pre-K approved by NY city.
Good news for families.
The New York Times editorial Board has endorsed the decision by the city of New York and the state legislature to implement pre-kindergarten.
Pre-K approved in NYC
There are studies on both sides of the issue but there is no question it will help families that do not have a parent who can stay at home.
The world is not perfect and neither is this program, but it’s a start.
And yes, it will be expensive, but so is letting children grow up without the best chance of an education we can afford.
That’s much more expensive.
Pay now or pay later in health costs and prison terms.
