There is no such thing as self-help. But maybe you need it anyway!
“If you got help, you did not do it yourself and if you did it yourself, you didn’t need it.”
I love this!
On the other hand, Maybe you need it anyway!
ANY OF THESE THINGS BOTHER YOU?
- If you have a problem you have been unable to solve for some time and you don’t even know what it is or what’s causing it, then you might need it!
- It could be a problem with time management.
- Or procrastination.
- Or goal-setting.
- It could be a problem with your relationship with a parent or a child.
- It could be something that has become (or is becoming) a problem with your wife or husband (or boyfriend or girlfriend.
- It could involve you thinking about a change in career or at least in your life’s direction.
Maybe you need a fresh perspective by someone who will listen and not judge. Maybe you just need to talk about it to get your ideas clear.
Sometimes we have problems that we say we “can’t ” solve. They’ve been with us so long unresolved, we have just decided to ignore them or suppress them. But it’s like with some people–no matter how deep you bury them they always come back to haunt you!
HELP! EVEN IF IT’S NOT SELF-HELP
All of us need help at one time or another. Look at all the singing coaches, theater coaches, golf coaches for professional entertainers and sports stars.
They ALL have coaches. Every one of them. And they are excellent at what they do.
They are always trying to improve or change something to make it a little better, a little more effectibve.
We are no different except we think we can’t use a coach or afford one.
Usually that isn’t true.
Ad the benefits that accrue from coaching or even just talking with someone else–a disinterested listener–not UNinterested, disinterested–which means we don’t have money on the race–and truthful discussions can be life-changing.
Just think about it. Let’s discuss it. FREE
In the meantime, maybe take a look at this book of mine on problem-identification.
I really can help.
