We don’t know each other yet…although I hope we get to.
I’ll be talking about you…about us…here on The Daley Post.
I don’t know you… but the problem is, maybe you don’t really know you either.
And if you don’t really know yourself, three bad things are going to happen to you in life.
- You won’t be in the right line of work.
- You won’t be with the right person.
- You won’t be happy.
You feel this already…inside.
How could you be happy if you hate your job?
How could you be happy if you are with the wrong person?
I’ve written a book on this called WHO ARE YOU AND WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?: The way to know yourself and get what you want.
But you can’t get what you want if you don’t know what you want.
- Think about the jobs you’ve had. Sometimes you would a have taken a $7/hour job over a $12 one because you despised the $12 job.
Think about the people you’ve dated (or even married!). Maybe it felt good at the start but then things went haywire. It doesn’t matter whose fault it was. You broke up.
In both those cases, you were unhappy.
Were you ever in a job you hated and your relationship was going up in flames at the same time? Enough to turn you to drink. Or worse!
The reason you are making mistakes like this—if you are—is because you are picking both the job and the woman or the man for the wrong reasons.
You think you are making the right choices, of course, or you wouldn’t do it. Time proves you wrong.
This isn’t not going to stop if you don’t get to know yourself. You don’t have enough information to make the right choices yet. You’re going to pick the wrong man or woman and the wrong line of work forever.
When you do have self-knowledge—you will know how to make choices based on what’s right for you. I can help you with this.
When you are in a job you love, with a person you love, everything gets better.
Your stress level drops. Your depression lifts.
You become more successful.
You happiness level goes up.
I’m not saying completely happy, deliriously happy.
If you are deliriously happy all the time, you should probably be in a psychiatric hospital.
But happier? Yes?
More successful? Yes.
You will find the right job and the right person.
You will find the right job and the right person.
